Your Impact

As a Data & System Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing robust and scalable architecture solutions that power Cisco's business initiatives. Your work will have a direct impact on operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.

In this role, you will:Design and Develop Architecture: Create comprehensive data models, database designs, and ETL processes to meet evolving business requirements.Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to the data and analytics team, ensuring alignment with best practices and business goals.Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with business analysts, data scientists, and data analysts to understand data needs and deliver systemic solutions.Ensure Integration: Oversee the integration and interoperability of systems with Cisco's existing infrastructure and third-party applications.Optimize Systems: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing systems for speed, scalability, and reliability.Documentation and Standards: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and technical standards.Evaluate New Technologies: Research and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance system performance and security.Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and best practices to safeguard sensitive data.Mentorship: Mentor junior architects and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.Minimum Qualifications

You bring a strong foundation in data and system architecture with proven experience in managing complex projects.

Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience:7+ years of experience in system architecture, design, and development, with expertise in the supply chain domain.Technical Skills:Proficiency in SQL, database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL), data warehousing, ETL tools, and data modeling tools.Programming expertise in Python and R Shiny.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications
