Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge of the US military’s use of data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI)? Do you have experience in the cross-section of military and data policy and governance? Imagine yourself working on a top-level, critical mission alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Policy and Governance Analyst with a passion for improving, documenting, and implementing data management processes.

Specific Responsibilities:

Comfortably communicate with staff; collaborate with stakeholders to integrate policy considerations into project planning and executionUpdate and maintain policy, governance, and legal documentation (i.e. manuals, directives, etc.)Lead development and implementation of data and AI standards and procedures aligned with DoD requirements and industry best practicesExplain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiencesEducate, mentor, and provide expert guidance on the interpretation and application of policy, governance, and legal requirements to ensure adherence to best practices and applicable standardsCapable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, and with minimal guidance.Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail

Required Education/Experience:

5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data or AI-related topicsPossess a strong data analytics or computer science background; experience with big-data and AI/ML conceptsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsActive DoD Secret-level security clearance

Preferred Experience:

Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activitiesPrior experience supporting a large team or Branch-level office

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
