Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance from stated office. Utilize SysML and MBSE- model based systems engineering principles to develop and review product architecture and define system behavior and requirements. Develop process and tool methodologies to support R,F,L,P data management in 3DX. Facilitate development and coordination of engineering artifacts for engineers consisting of the architecture, failure mode avoidance analysis, requirements, requirements verification to meet product milestones. Actively work with peers and specialists on cross-functional teams like hardware engineering, manufacturing, and program management. Support the processes and methods that enable concurrent product creation using integrated models (such as MBSE, CAD, CAE, CAM, etc.) Support and train engineering and vehicle teams on how to utilize 3DX experience. Define and maintain user methods to execute Ford way of working in new 3DX tool. **You'll have...** A Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or 3 years of experience using PLM software to manage engineering data (hardware or software) used in product development processes. Also requires 2 years of experience: using MBSE best practices and methodologies for performing systems analysis of systems, subsystems, or components; defining requirements to support failure mode avoidance process; using Verification and Validation (V&V) principles; using the SysML modeling tool Magicdraw; using software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and CI/CD; and using JIRA or Rally to facilitate and track IT solution development. Requires 1 year of using the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including CATIA and ENOVIA. We are offering a salary of $87,589.00 - $190,500.00/yr.
