Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated DAS Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have fusion splicing experience and a strong understanding of RF systems. Fiber optic experience is a plus and will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and troubleshoot DAS systems in commercial and public venues. Perform fusion splicing of fiber optic cables and ensure proper testing and documentation. Conduct site surveys and RF testing using tools such as spectrum analyzers and PIM testers. Run and terminate coaxial, Cat5/6, and fiber optic cabling. Interpret RF design plans, iBwave files, and construction drawings. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, test results, and service reports. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely project completion. Adhere to safety standards and company policies on all job sites. Skills and Requirements Minimum 2 years of DAS installation experience. Proficiency in fusion splicing and fiber optic cable handling. Familiarity with DAS OEMs (e.g., Commscope, Corning, SOLiD, JMA, etc.). Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
