Responsibilities

As a member of the D365 Center of Excellence the System Administrator is responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining the Dynamics 365 Financial and Operations (F&O) application. This includes user management, security role administration, data integration, and troubleshooting. They also support the system, ensuring it meets business needs and requirements. A critical responsibility is the management of code promotion, newly released features, and version updates. This position is also responsible for maintaining employee information in D365 from the Human Resources systems. This position is located onsite in Reno, Nevada.  Other responsibilities include:

System Configuration:Configure and customize Dynamics 365 F&O to meet business needs, including settings, security roles, and workflows. Prepare and execute unit and integration testing of D365 and integration solutions in support of upgrades to Microsoft D365 and support information technologies.User Management:Manage user accounts, permissions, and security roles within the system. Data Management:Ensure data accuracy and consistency, including data integration with other systems. Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Dynamics 365 F&O system, including identifying root causes and implementing solutions. Integration Support:Support integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and other Microsoft products, such as Power Platform. Performance Monitoring:Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize the system for efficiency. Release and Environment Management:Dynamics 365 F&O updates and upgrades including third party applications.Promotion of customizations.Setup and management of Sandbox and Development environments.Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for the Dynamics 365 F&O system and associated Standard Operating Procedures Qualifications Minimum 3 years of D365 Finance and Operations System Administration; Preferred experience of 5 yearsExperience working in Agile delivery methods and with Azure DevOps, Power Automate, LCSExcellent problem-solving skillsThe desire to work in a team environment across organization functional boundaries.Proven performance in both written and oral communication skills.Proven ability to work with cross functional teams.Excellent time management skills.High degree of experience with standard Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Teams).Experience with user management and security role administration.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred experienceCustomizing D365 SSRS reportsThird party application: Docentric Advanced ReportingMicrosoft certifications:Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect ExpertExamPL-600Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer ExpertExamAZ-400Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP)ExamMB-335Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect ExpertExamMB-700 Education/Experience BS Degree in Computer Information Systems or BS degree in a relevant business area.
