**About The Role:**
We are seeking a highly qualified and transformational Senior Engineering Manager to lead our versatile software development teams focused on building innovative web applications and integrating advanced Generative AI capabilities.
This role is for a hands-on leader who can balance technical depth with strong people leadership skills, driving the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and impactful products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical strategy, facilitating a culture of innovation, and ensuring seamless collaboration across engineering, product, and business collaborators.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ Drive recruitment efforts to attract and retain top engineering talent.
+ Define and drive the technical roadmap and architecture for modern web applications built with Angular or React, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
+ Lead the exploration, integration, and development of Generative LLM API-powered applications, using models from Azure, Gemini, or other similar technologies to create innovative features and products.
+ Be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions, ensuring alignment to standard processes and high-quality outcomes.
+ Guide the team in using cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, including infrastructure setup, monitoring, and scaling.
+ Champion and enforce standard processes across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to deployment and post-launch support.
+ Implement and refine Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure efficient project delivery, adaptability to changing requirements, and continuous value delivery.
+ Manage project timelines, resources, and risks, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of key initiatives.
+ Act as a primary technical liaison between engineering, product management, design, and business owners/customers.
+ Possess strong business owner communication skills, translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
+ Collaborate with product teams to define requirements, set realistic expectations, and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
+ Manage partner expectations effectively, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements.
+ Stay abreast of emerging technologies, particularly in Generative AI, frontend frameworks, and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential application to our products.
+ Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation and continuous learning within the team.
+ Ensure the implementation of robust testing strategies and quality assurance processes to deliver highly reliable software.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5+ years in a leadership/management role managing engineering teams.
+ Proven track record of successfully delivering sophisticated software products from conception to launch.
+ Deep hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically Angular or React, including strong understanding of their ecosystems and standard methodologies.
+ Demonstrated experience in integrating and building applications powered by Generative LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI's GPT models, Google Gemini APIs, or similar large language models).
+ Strong understanding of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go) and API design principles.
+ Solid experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and database services. Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
+ Expertise in SDLC standard processes and a strong commitment to quality and maintainability.
+ Extensive experience implementing and optimizing Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
+ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
+ Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
+ Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and business partners.
+ Proven track record to manage stakeholder expectations and build strong, collaborative relationships.
