D&T Manager - DBB Production

To modernize our production process and further improve the User Experience for our operators; the Connected Brewery Digital Products will be integrated in the new digital Digital Backbone (DBB) for all Heineken Operations Globally. Our modern Connected Worker and Smart Brewery solutions will become the Global E2E template to manage Production, Quality and Maintenance operations towards our breweries and the shopfloor, unlocking many new opportunities.

 

As the D&T Manager for DBB Production, you will be leading, shaping and working closely together with all Connected Brewery ecosystem the product teams and functional owners to design, build and operate digital platforms for Production, quality and maintenance processes. In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely together with all Product Teams in the Connected Brewery leading the technology experts for the production, quality and asset care processes.

 

Responsible for the E2E cycle of the production Quality and Maintenance platforms in DBB working in Global Supply Chain. Ensure strong and efficient Supply Chain Processes for all network of sites in Heineken.

 

This role requires a solid understanding and experience with modern Quality, Production and Maintenance platforms and processes, a proven track record of development and support, creation of high-performance teams, and the ability to work in a matrixed environment.

 

Your responsibilites would include:

 

leading all aspects of the D&T agenda for Digital Backbone (DBB) for Supply Chain Global Production including direction, innovation, technology delivery, service delivery, financial and people management

ensuring DBB business platforms are contributing significantly to supply chain productivity and preventing supply chain disruption by maintaining platform stability through leading internal and external platform teams in scope, planning and delivering work, applying established delivery methodologies and best practices

orchestrating and monitoring the benefits, value and cost of DBB Global Production digital solutions and initiatives in line with D&T and Global Supply Chain ambitions

co-shaping the strategy and driving innovation with functional and regional leaders for the DBB agenda in Global Production

building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders on strategic and tactical levels, both internal and external

leading and coaching the DBB D&T Production Capability team consisting of technology experts for production, quality and maintenance processes

ensuring key competencies and expertise required to develop, build, deploy and support the product are embedded within the interdisciplinary team

collaborating as a team player across all levels of product teams and influencing others to move toward consensus

participating in duties such as utilities, requirements, changeovers, quality sampling, CILT, spare parts material replenishment and the automated production process

identifying and understanding multiple stakeholder perspectives and fostering an open-minded approach to build on diverse views

working across a broad range of business and IT-related subject matter areas with strong understanding of technical data processes, key drivers and system knowledge

ensuring consistency of the overall solution and providing guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process

working with the Product Owner and functional owners to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements

managing the quality of the solution and addressing technical debt

identifying potential bottlenecks and root causes affecting the product and proposing solutions

maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends and architecture best practices and evaluating their applicability

keeping up with developments in own functional area and ensuring development, transfer and retention of knowledge

delivering product enhancements within allocated timelines and quality standards while minimizing rework and promoting a zero-defect culture

liaising with team members, management and operating companies to ensure project completion to standard

collaborating with different Global Supply Chain teams to optimize processes across the value chain

working with Domain and Enterprise Architects and product architects on solution design to ensure alignment with overall architectural vision and technical roadmap

ensuring adherence to HEINEKEN standards and best practices for production, asset care, quality and compliance

managing vendors by preparing statements of work, monitoring turnaround times, assessing quality of work, negotiating contracts, managing relationships, assigning jobs and evaluating performance

managing application roadmap, transformation, development, support and operations of technology platforms in production.

 

You are a good candidate if you have:

 

IT/SC leader with demonstrated thought leadership and influence across an organization

proven track record in the manufacturing IT environment (minimum of 10+ years), with expertise and experience in Production, Quality Management or Maintenance

ability to manage SC and/or technology vendors

experience in a large-scale, high-volume environment

end-to-end experience and knowledge in Production aspects of the value chain

experience with safety and continuous improvement processes (TPM) in a manufacturing environment

familiarity with related ISO standards, design controls, Health & Safety, Quality and regulatory domain knowledge

knowledge and experience of Industry 4.0

knowledge of integration with ERP and industrial systems

understanding of (batch) manufacturing modelling, integration and security standards, primarily: ISA88/95/99

excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

experience managing and leading teams (directly or indirectly)

experience with digital solutions for the shop floor, such as:

Production and Quality Management systems (e.g., SAP, DJE, Navision)

Asset management and Maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM, MAXIMO), providing services for planned and corrective maintenance

Process control systems (e.g., MES)

Connected Worker platforms (e.g., Parsable, SwipeGuide), providing services for manual production and maintenance execution

Manufacturing Orchestration.

 

You are a perfect candidate if you also have:

 

experience in IoT services and advanced analytics

experience with service management solutions (e.g., ServiceNow), providing services for continuous improvement (TPM) and safety

product and Project Management certification

experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure or AWS.
