The D&T Analyst - Business Administration role within Aramex's digital and technology department is pivotal in supporting operational efficiency and administrative functions. This position plays a crucial role in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, project coordination, and administrative support, ensuring streamlined operations and facilitating effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. The role involves analyzing data to provide valuable insights, implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, and managing administrative tasks to support the smooth execution of digital and technology initiatives. By bridging the gap between technical complexities and business needs, this role contributes significantly to Aramex's strategic goals and operational success.

The overall purpose of this role is to:

Ensure smooth functioning and efficiency of digital and technology department operations. Conduct analysis to derive insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. Identify and implement improvements to enhance departmental processes and workflows. Assist in coordinating projects within the digital and technology initiatives. Customer:

Be proactive in understanding the commercial, analytical, and administration requirements of Digital & Technology, and the requirements from stakeholders including Finance, Procurement, Compliance and Legal.

 

People:

Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align Digital & Technology processes and practices with strategic objectives. Provide guidance on D&T and cross-functional process improvement and administration matters. Foster a culture of continuous improvement eg by gathering feedback on existing processes.

 

Operations - Support the Tech management with the business management responsibilities by:

 

Vendor coordination

Negotiation and tracking of vendor agreements PR, PO and goods receipt coordination and management, including escalations.
Monitoring and tracking vendor performance to SLAs, identifying areas for improvement Monitoring vendor onboarding within established practices and providing guidance to new vendors on process Onboarding new partners to the team.

 

Data and Analysis: Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to interpret data sets related to technology commercial, vendor and budgeting operations, identifying trends, patterns, and insights. Prepare reports summarizing key findings and metrics, providing actionable insights to support strategic and operational decision-making within the department.

 

Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and processes. Recommend and implement solutions to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource allocation, contributing to cost savings and improved performance metrics.

 

Budgeting and administrative Support: Support in preparation of annual budget plan for third party spend Manage documentation within the department. Schedule and organize meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute minutes, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. Ensure that the operational workings of the department are pro-active, assured and aligned with wider Business Partners, functions and external partners Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and external stakeholders. Collaborate cross-functionally to support project delivery and operational goals

 

Financial Result:

Manage within Functional budget and support the delivery of all D&T budget. Job Requirements - Experience and Education A university degree in Management Information Systems, computer Science or related field is essential. Minimum –5 years background in IT with proven experience in technology budget, vendor, procurement management, project management or data analytics Strong understanding of IT Governance, processes and methodologies Knowledge of technology trends and industry best practices related to commercial frameworks and budget administration. Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
