We are accelerating Digital Transformation of our MakE capabilities to provide a competitive advantage to our business. One of General Mills’ key technology priorities is driving business action through connected data. This individual will help drive Manufacturing D&T systems, ensure the solutions are sustainable, and follow General Mills’ Engineering standards. The role requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives and work well with various internal and external partners to bring capabilities to life across a variety of General Mills business teams. This role is estimated to be 50% development/technical work and 50% analyst work. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES · Working in partnership with global MQIS / MES team & engage to deliver backlog, making sure the systems run optimally · The role is Techno-functional System Analyst; Key responsibility would be to partner with business contacts to understand business issues, identify opportunities and take technology initiative to implement the solution · Deliver technical and functional expertise in Supply chain areas of Manufacturing and Engineering · Proficient in analyzing systems and integrations built on .Net and Database such as Oracle / SQL · Guide the design and development of solutions for Supply Chain projects, including MQIS, Manufacturing Analytics, and other technologies/solutions. · Provide high quality support, ensuring strong user experience and proactively work to improve overall environment stability · Provide training and mentoring of support community across the field. · Rotational off-hour support for the company Manufacturing systems · Keep up to date on current trends across the Plant Engineering and Manufacturing environments. Advise business partners engaged in merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree preferably in the IT / STEM fields Hands-on experience building and maintaining Manufacturing systems and analytic solutions Experience with Supply Chain Manufacturing and Manufacturing Execution Systems preferred Proficient in .Net technologies, Databases such as Oracle/SQL Experience with Data Visualization Tools preferred Able to support Day to Day operations & Technical Upgrades PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Strong Business Analysis skills; Preferably must have worked in Supply Chain Domain Databases skills (Oracle/SQL) and .NET technologies. Must have excellent written and verbal skills, including technical writing. Must be able to develop technical solutions to business problems and act as a bridge between business and technical team.
