Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a PhD in Clinical Cytogenetics or equivalent. Certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics in Clinical Cytogenetics/LGG and meeting the requirements for a Director of Clinical Cytogenetics by The College of American Pathologists and CLIA regulations.

Qualifications:
Certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics in Clinical Cytogenetics and meeting the requirements for a Director of Clinical Cytogenetics of The College of American Pathologists and CLIA regulations. PhD in Clinical Cytogenetics or equivalent.Analytical ability to maximize processes and operating efficiency.A minimum of 2 years experience as laboratory director or director training fellowshipClinical research experience and publication of work are preferred.Expert knowledge of clinical testing processes and procedures.Laboratory or manufacturing facility experience is a plus.Duties:
Provide technical and scientific direction to the cytogenetic laboratory.Reporting karyotyping studies in a timely manner.Develop validation and reporting new test.Maintain quality control standards according to CAP and CLIA regulationsEnsure staffing schedules are well coordinated.Maintain knowledge of all regulations pertinent to Cytogenetics.If you are ready to advance your career in a dynamic environment and contribute to the forefront of Cytogenetics, we encourage you to apply!
