Cyflex and Instrumentation Specialized Technician - 2nd Shift
**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Cyflex and Instrumentation Specialized Technician to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY. **Job Summary:** Installs, configures, calibrates and repairs instrumentation systems. Develops proper instrumentation setup and troubleshoots issues as they occur. **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** • **Enhancing System Performance:** By operating, ISO, and IMO requirements • Work cross functionally with data customers, operations and quality groups to improve data quality and test processes • Develop calibration forms and macros • Develop automated scripts to process test cell data and ensure data quality • Diagnose and resolve test software and data post-processing issues • Train others on the use of Cyflex **Functional/Technical Skills:** • Knowledge of emissions test regulations particularly the 40CFR1065, ISO-8178, and Stage V • Knowledge of emissions test systems and related components (Fundamentals of Measurements, Test System Design And Diagnostics, Computer Based Data Acquisition, Torque Measurement, Pressure Measurements, Temperature Measurement, Humidity Measurement, Fuel Consumption Measurement, and Test Control Software). • Knowledge of Linux scripting • Knowledge of emissions data post processing and database extraction tools • Knowledge of engine dynamometer testing • Ability to develop control interfaces
