Cybersecurity Specialist

Position Title: Cybersecurity Specialist 
Location: Panama City Beach, FL
Clearance: ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE or ABILITY TO OBTAIN A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

 

Position Overview

ISPA Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to support ongoing cybersecurity certification efforts across multiple Navy projects. The ideal candidate will possess foundational cybersecurity credentials and experience, with the drive and aptitude to grow into a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) role through guided training and mentorship.

  Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation in support of certification and accreditation efforts in eMASS

Generate and update cybersecurity policy plans including System Security Plans (SSPs), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), and Continuous Monitoring Plans

Provide subject matter expertise on the Risk Management Framework (RMF), including Navy-specific policies and procedures

Conduct and support configuration management activities as they relate to cybersecurity compliance

Assist with the implementation of Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and reporting

Collaborate with system owners, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure security requirements are understood and met

Provide support through various lifecycle stages of system development and deployment with a focus on security compliance

Required Qualifications

COMPTIA Security+ certification

Experience with Navy RMF is required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to prepare formal documentation in accordance with DoD cybersecurity standards
