We are looking for an ambitious and self-driven Cybersecurity Operations Specialist (Senior Associate level) to join our Information Security, Internal Firm Services, team in Athens. You’ll work on high-impact projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and tackle real business challenges - all while learning, growing, and redefining what’s possible.  

As a member of the information security team you will work across the PwC network firms to continue to drive the maturation of the member firm information security risk posture based on global strategy, member firm business requirements and risk appetite. This Cybersecurity Operations Specialist role coordinates, supports, and leads specific daily operations of the Information Security team, focusing on global and local security initiatives, compliance, and risk assessments. The role is ideal for individuals passionate about cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. The role will report to the local Head of Information Security.

Your job description:     

Drive implementation and monitoring of Global & Local Information Security Projects and Initiatives. Carry out Information Security Risk Assessments. Lead ISO27001/27701 audit activities. Respond to client security questionnaires and support security-related contract reviews. Create Information Security Training & Awareness campaigns. Monitor ISP and regulatory compliance, including exception handling. Lead incident response coordination and security monitoring. Support Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes. Collaborate with Application Security teams on operational tasks. Lead information security incident framework and remediation efforts.

5 year(s) progressive professional roles involving information security and/or IT management. Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. Strong interest in cybersecurity, compliance, and risk management. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with ISO standards, security frameworks, or audit processes will be considered a plus.

Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone. Act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively, coaching others, recognising their strengths, and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development as well as addressing sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's expectations. Analyze complex ideas or presentations and build a range of meaningful recommendations. Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions. Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making. Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients. Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties and simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
