The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a Cybersecurity Liaison Officer (LNO) to support our DoD customer to implement an enterprise IT service delivery model that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.  On this program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DoD customer to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

As a Cybersecurity Liaison Officer (LNO), you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between various departments within the Department of the Air Force and the EITaaS Wave 1 cybersecurity team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure effective communication and collaboration between different stakeholders, enabling a proactive and comprehensive approach to cybersecurity risk management. You will serve as the main point of contact for cybersecurity-related matters, advocating for security best practices, and actively assisting in the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives. This includes applying your expertise in critical areas such as Active Directory management, Organizational Unit (OU) design and implementation, Intune configuration and security, and the application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure system hardening and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the cybersecurity team and other business units, departments, and external partners. Establish strong working relationships to understand their unique needs, challenges, and requirements related to cybersecurity.

Communication and Education: Facilitate clear and timely communication regarding cybersecurity matters, including threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices. Organize and lead cybersecurity awareness sessions and training programs for non-technical staff to improve security posture across the organization.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Collaborate with various teams to identify potential cybersecurity risks within their respective areas of operation. Assist in conducting risk assessments and help develop mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.

Incident Response Coordination: Support the cybersecurity incident response team in coordinating and communicating responses to cybersecurity incidents. Ensure that the relevant stakeholders are kept informed during incident resolution.

Policy Implementation: Assist in the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines across the organization. Collaborate with departments to ensure they are aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

Security Project Support: Provide insights and expertise to departments undertaking new projects or initiatives that involve information systems or technology. Ensure that security considerations are integrated into project planning and execution.

Threat Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and industry developments. Share relevant threat intelligence with the appropriate teams and help devise strategies to counter emerging threats.

Regulatory Compliance: Assist in meeting cybersecurity-related regulatory requirements and help prepare necessary documentation for compliance audits.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators related to cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring that progress is communicated to stakeholders and management.
