The Opportunity:

CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Cybersecurity Engineer Lead, SME. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner CSD located in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Designs, implements, and tests cybersecurity solutions to meet DoD and NSA cybersecurity and RMF compliance standards 

Analyzes complex security issues and develops effective solutions and incident response to maintain cybersecurity compliance and readiness and limit cyber impact 

Assesses emerging cybersecurity policies, technologies, and best practices to make recommendations that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations and overall security posture 

Functions as a cybersecurity subject matter expert on DoD accreditation strategies, Army regulations, RMF 2.0 framework, continuous monitoring, DoDI 8510, and USAREUR-AF G6 cybersecurity policies, procedures, and plans 

Manages the RMF program and the development and maintenance of Assessment and Authorization (A&A), architectural, and other documentation in the authoritative location, including external systems and Cross-Domain Solutions (CDS), under the purview of the MPs 

Performs Security Control Assessment (SCA) reporting and services, including inspecting/assessing networks, generating POA&M documentation, preparing exceptions for Government review, performing risk assessments, generating findings, and recommending courses of action 

Provides SCA-Validation services IAW the RMF by developing, maintaining, and evaluating accreditation packages for unclassified and classified networks, information systems, Protected Distribution Systems (PDS), and circuit connections 

Prepares certification testing and evaluation risk reports and artifacts, final reports, RMF scorecards, and security assessment reports 

Develops and conducts Test and Evaluation visit in-briefs and out-briefs and discusses results with the system owner 

Provides CSSP support and maintains SOPs/TTPs and automated libraries for documentation and ensures compliance with RMF 

Supports cybersecurity protection activities, detection actions, incident response and sustainment, and cybersecurity analysis, engineering, and support for networks, software, hardware, equipment, and C2 systems support  

Communicates and presents security concepts and recommendations effectively 

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments 

Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge 

Frequently participates in and contributes to strategic discussions and standards development related to cybersecurity 

Mentors less experienced cybersecurity personnel 

Leads and supervises cybersecurity teams  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret SCI with ability to maintain  

BA/BS + 13 years  

Certification - CISM or CISSO or FITSP-D or GCIA or GCSA or GCLD or GDSA or GICSP or CISSP-ISSAP or CISSP-ISSEP or Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated or Training  

Possesses extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering for networks, software, and hardware, preferably within DoD and NSA environments.  

Demonstrates deep understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF), accreditation strategies, and cybersecurity policies.  

Exhibits mastery in designing, assessing, implementing, testing, and evaluating cybersecurity solutions and developing required documentation and reporting to meet complex compliance standards and accreditation requirements.  

Showcases strong analytical skills for assessing emerging cybersecurity threats and developing effective incident response strategies.  

Displays excellent communication abilities to present complex security concepts and lead cybersecurity teams.  

Combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to contribute to high-level discussions and mentor junior personnel.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$115,600 - 254,200 USD
