As a Cybersecurity Analyst you should have a general understanding of email security and server technology. The McGraw-Hill Cybersecurity Team is a highly technical, metrics driven team, with a consistent focus on process optimization and automation to improve effectiveness. You must be able to report, quantify stats, trends, and metrics to quantify risk and results. **This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.** **What you will be doing** + Managing SSL certificate approvals and renewals. + Perform phishing email attack investigations. + Analyzing and addressing malware threats. + Perform threat hunting on attack techniques commonly used by adversaries. + Perform triage steps in response to security alerts. + Perform scripting and automation tasks to reduce risk exposure. **We’re looking for someone with** + 2+ years' experience in related field + General knowledge of SSL certificate technology. + Experience with servers, applications, LDAP, and DNS. + Knowledge of Python and PowerShell is recommended. + Strong analytical skills. + Strong communication skills. + Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred **Why work for us?** There has never been a better time to join McGraw Hill. The pay range for this position is between $65,000 - $75,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
