Job Summary: WCTG is seeking a Cybersecurity Advisor to provide expert guidance on securing digital assets, mitigating cyber threats, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role involves assessing vulnerabilities, advising on security strategies, and implementing risk management protocols to protect sensitive data and systems. Key Responsibilities: Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and audits Develop and implement security policies, frameworks, and best practices Monitor emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends Provide technical recommendations to enhance security posture Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CISA guidelines Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen network, cloud, and endpoint security Lead incident response efforts and forensic investigations Train employees on cybersecurity awareness and risk prevention Engage with stakeholders, law enforcement, and third-party vendors on security matters Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (preferred) Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or equivalent (a plus) Proven experience in cybersecurity risk management and threat analysis Strong understanding of encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders Knowledge of cloud security, zero-trust architecture, and emerging technologies The expected base salary for this position ranges from $170,000 to $190,000 Annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
