This position is based in our London office with a hybrid schedule that has the option of working two days remotely each week.

Role Purpose:

To support the development, marketing, relationship management (both client and broker) of our Cyber relationships and portfolio.

Build and expand the UK and Ireland Cyber portfolio(s) in line with Everest International plans and underwriting strategy, whilst maintaining a focus on bottom line underwriting profit and delivery of Everest International plans.

Key Accountabilities:

Working within the authority granted, writing a profitable book of Cyber business per the Everest International Underwriting guidelines.

To refer as appropriate risks exceeding prescribed underwriting authority.

Expand and maintain existing Broker relationships along with other sources of distribution.  Developing new relationships, where this is consistent with the objectives set in the Business Plan.

Strategically collaborate with underwriting and distribution leaders across all Everest products with respect to Cyber risk and products.

To liaise with the Claims Manager on claims related issues and participate in account and management reviews, as required.

To participate in the underwriting peer review process at weekly and monthly underwriting meetings, as required.

To contribute to the regular analysis and review of underwriting practices and procedures.

To assist as required in the improvement of the management information systems, service standards, marketing materials, website and risk management and claims functions connected to the Everest Cyber practice.

Effectively communicate with management on all issues both within and outside the Unit as needed.

Marketing Everest International in the UK & Ireland through contributing to articles and representing Everest at conferences as speaker or panel member.

Collaborate with Everest colleagues in the International office locations, as well as in North America.

Professional Experience:

Good understanding of underwriting in the UK and European insurance marketplaces.

In-depth knowledge and experience of Underwriting Cyber insurance products.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
