Duties & Responsibilities:

Ensure Cyber TSCM missions are staffed appropriately and that Cyber TSCM related activities support the customer’s TSCM program, TSSC modernization goals, and Office of Counterintelligence Technical CI Division. Maintain familiarization with all governing national and agency level policies, ensuring compliance with all facets of reporting and training requirements as well as all other regulatory guidelines.Familiarity with current TSCM and CI policyConduct TSCM operations consistent with National and DoD policies governing the employment of TSCM tactics, techniques, and proceduresEnsure customer compliance with ICD 705, Physical Security Standards for SCIFs, and DoD standards for collateral areasIdentify physical and acoustical security deficiencies and develop corrective actions to mitigate the identified deficienciesAnalyze complex physical and technical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirementsProvide recommendations and guidance for customer facilities under constructionPrepare specialized technical risk assessment products, TSCM reports of inquiry, after action reports, tailored briefings, and other administrative communication necessary to support the CI missionProvide technical advice and assistance as it relates to CI and TSCMGenerate finished correspondence, documents, briefing materials, spread sheets and threat reports in accordance with customer guidelines, as requiredAssist Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA) with technical security plans, policy and execution; assess electronic processing equipment for security vulnerabilitiesAll external engagements to include, but not limited to, conferences, equipment demonstrations, external learning events, national and DoD level meetings, et cetera, require an after-action report, due within 72 hours of completion.An after-action report and briefing are required within five work days after completion of any national or DoD level exercise participationConduct daily TSCM Cyber missions. Those duties include:Coordinate with customer’s Cyber stakeholders to prepare for TSCM Cyber missionsInstall TSCM Cyber equipment effectively for the respective mission areaConduct thorough analysis of cyber data to support TSCM missionsCollaborate with customer’s Cyber stakeholders to investigate findingsBrief customers on the results of TSCM Cyber missionsReport TSCM Cyber findings to customers within established timeframesAssist with maintenance and day-to-day monitoring of the TSCM Cyber suite, ensuring compliance with information assurance requirements in order to sustain authorization to operateResearch and attend advanced cyber security training to enhance technical competencyTrain TSCM practitioners on the use of newly developed cyber technologiesResearch, test and develop new technologies to enhance TSCM Cyber capabilities supporting customer’s infrastructure

Skills and Experience:

Required:

5+ years of experienceExperience writing and editing of technical documentsShall possess certification from TSCM for Information SystemsShall have an Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM CertificationShall complete at least 40 hours of discipline-specific development or refresher training every fiscal year. The training delivery may include classroom, on-line, or commercially-available training, or exercise. The customer will sponsor Government-offered, discipline-specific development or refresher training IAW National and DoD standards.Meet minimum training requirements, within one calendar year of assignment, for access to DoD networks in accordance with DoDM 8140.03, by attaining and maintaining at least baseline certification for DoDM 8140.03 Information Assurance Technician Level II compliance

Desired:

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical disciplineExperience with telephone security (i.e. with Telephone Security Group (TSG) requirements)Shall have knowledge and experience with Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems, Cloud systems and network architecture, and their associated vulnerabilities.Be a credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy (ex. FBI Academy, etc.)
