Cyber Technical Operator Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * **The Opportunity:** CACI is seeking a Technical Operator to fill a role supporting a heavily operations-facing role. The Technical Operator in this position helps plan, organize, and execute technical operations in support of priority mission requirements. This includes development of technical concepts for cyber mission; the ability to identify potential roadblocks to successful completion of complex operations. Officer utilizes extensive knowledge of traditional cyber network activities to help guide planning. Officer drafts and coordinates operational correspondences, as well as briefs and communicates operational planning to senior levels and other mission partners. Officer also has a solid understanding of field operations and can help guide technical and operational objectives. Officer may also travel in support of operational objectives, but officer’s main focus is providing technical expertise from various entities. You can learn more about our program by accessing the landing page: VORPAL Jobs (https://careers.caci.com/vorpal) **Responsibilities:** • Perform additional technical analysis for ops support working with a dynamic and multi-discipline team to identify opportunities for new technical operations, inform risk management and best practices for ongoing operations • Analyze collected and collateral network traffic in support of operational planning and ongoing support • Develop, deliver and/or support technical briefing material to client and client partners **Qualifications:** _Required:_ • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or other related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training and work/military experience • 10 or more combined years of experience from the following bullets: • Demonstrated experience conducting cyber and technical operations to include development of technical tools, operational access, coordination with mission partners and drafting operational approvals • Ability to apply tradecraft to protect and safeguard operations and equities • Ability to identify opportunities for future operations through technical exchanges, knowledge and experience • Develop concepts of operation for technical access • Ability to conceive, prepare-for, and conduct technical exchange meetings (TEMs) • Demonstrated expertise managing cyber or other technical operations throughout the operational lifecycle • Have an understanding of, and experience with client’s culture, practices, and processes, technical operations in general and cyber operations • Understanding of computer networks and familiarity with technical collection capabilities and field operations • Demonstrated understanding of the entire computer network and ability to research, analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision • Demonstrated familiarity with client systems, processes and practices to create formal and informal communications with client partners • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills • Deep understanding of the OSI model and familiarity with analyzing and enumerating complex networks (familiar with PCAP analysis, network hardware, protocols, software implementation _Desired:_ • Travel is desired not required; may include OCONUS & CONUS TDY, though expected to be very infrequent. - **________________________________________________________________________________________** **What You Can Expect:** **A culture of integrity.** At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
