We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated colleague to be part of our Network, Cyber Security and IT team.
You will get the opportunity to build your experience by participating in project deliveries, service and in commissioning – always having an experienced colleague to learn from.
Your responsibilities:Working on projects for major global companies in the industry, energy, and maritime transport sectorsInstallation and configuration of Windows servers/clients in a domain environment, ABB control systems, and their securityConfiguration and management of virtual environments using virtualization tools such as VMware ESXi, Horizon, Microsoft Hyper-V, etc.Design and configuration of network elements in project networks (e.g., Hirschmann, Cisco, Moxa, Fortinet)Design, installation, and management of advanced solutions for cyber securityConducting system audits, designing and applying cyber security rulesTesting new versions of products for cyber securityCollaboration with global ABB teams and the cyber security communityIntegration of industrial control system and enterprise networksWork as part of project team, for detailed design, engineering and commissioning of networkAssist and advice project teams with implementation of cyber securityStay current with new technologies like next generation firewalls, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), network monitoring, threat detection and cyber resilienceOccasional business trips abroadYour background:University degree in IT or equivalent education with at least 2 years of IT experienceFluent in English, spoken and written (B1 level and above)Basic knowledge of computer networks - configuration of network elementsInterest in PC hardware and networks in generalGenerally, network competence like CCNA switching and routing, some additional routing experience is a plus, for example, with BGP and OSPFProactive, communicative, and able to work independentlyWillingness to educate oneself in the field of IT and cyber security, staying updated on the latest trends, and working with the latest systems and technologies in the fieldISA 99 Purdue model and network segregation - advantageIEC 62443 concepts; Zones and conduits - advantageABB offers:Annual financial bonusFlexible working hours25 vacation daysAnnual salary reviewsPossibility of remote work (Home Office)Financial contribution for working from homeMultisport cardOpportunities for education - external courses and conferencesLanguage courses - group, individual, or onlineMeal voucher (financial contribution directly to your salary)Contribution to pension insurance or Benefit Portal (2-3% in addition to your monthly salary)Opportunity for further career growth within branches in the Czech Republic and worldwideModern offices with good transportation accessibility (train, bus, tram near the office)Mobile phone
