About the TeamThe Engineering part of the Threat Management team consists of cybersecurity professionals focusing on the administration, management and development of cybersecurity technology platforms, as well as advisory services. These cybersecurity technology platforms serve our clients as supportive tools against cyber threats. The Threat Management team also includes Security Operations team, with whom you will closely work with and enhance security for our clients.
About your managerMarijo has over 15+ years of experience as Information Technologies specialisty and 9 years of experience in Cyber Security, focusing on operating, configuring, implementing and troubleshooting various technologies such as: SIEMs, EDR, SOAR, Firewalls, Clouds and various operating systems. His core experience stems from various technical roles in multiple international enterprises where the emphasis was on quality of delivery, client satisfaction, and adoption of new technologies in order cope with emerging trends and challenges. Marijo is considered as calm and trusted advisor that has strong working ethics with focus on technical expertise in cyber security engineering topics and as well building business opportunities based on trust with all the stakeholders.

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will represent PwC in client interactions, focusing on the deployment and management of innovative technologies and solutions. You will also play a key role in their continuous development and optimization. We seek individuals with a deep understanding of these solutions, who are proactive problem solvers, and who thrive in addressing challenges that may arise in diverse and dynamic project environments. Your ability to think critically and communicate effectively will be crucial in guiding clients through complex security landscapes.
Education: a bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related fields is preferred.
General Experience: at least 2-3 years of proven experience in the cybersecurity field.
Technical Experience: hands-on experience in deploying and managing cybersecurity tools such as NGFW, SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR and others.
Technical Skills: strong understanding of network protocols and architectures, cloud technologies and their security, and the ability to work with various operating systems and understand their security aspects.
Certifications: such as CCNA, CCNP, Comptia Security+, or equivalent vendor-oriented ones is advantage.
Language: English (mandatory), Czech or Slovak (advantage), Other (advantage).
Personal Attributes: Demonstrated consistency, reliability, and professionalism, with the ability to work effectively withing international and diverse teams. Strong work ethic paired with excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
