 What you´ll do

 

As part of the job's key responsibilities, the security incident responder will be expected to:

Respond promptly and efficiently to security incidents as well as conducting post-incident analysis. Detect and respond to threats in network environments. Use Splunk and other SIEM tools to identify potential security incidents, create incident reports, and provide an initial assessment of the incident’s impact. Coordinate response efforts and help remediate identified threats and vulnerabilities. Standardize and automate incident response functions and workflows. Enhance and maintain playbooks and other documentation for incident response activities.

 

What you bring

 

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field. 5+ years of experience in a Security Incident Response role or a similar position. Excellent understanding of computer networking and common internet protocols. Proficiency with Splunk and other SIEM tools. Familiarity with different types of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, evasion techniques, attack vectors, tools, techniques, and procedures. Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts in simple terms. Flexibility to adjust to different time zones and working hours as per the requirement. General understanding of SAP corporate, its functions, and processes. Any additional industry-relevant certifications (like GCIH, ECIH, CISSP, etc.) would be a plus.
