Cyber Security Compliance Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cyber Security Compliance Analyst supports the Cyber Security (CS) Department and works directly with the CS Operations Manager to assess the current state of PMRF systems and work to implement enhancements to systems, processes, procedures and policies to improve performance and efficiency of the CS department.
MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Specific assignments and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
+ Can accurately perform security tasks required by the 32 CFR Part 117 National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800-37, and DOD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems.
+ Plan, execute and lead security audits on all Information Systems (IS) and Platform IT (PIT).
+ Develops, reviews, prepares and analyzes compliance and assessment documents.
+ Using existing policies and standards, and applicable industry regulations to plan, maintain, and operate compliance activities.
+ Conduct periodic reviews/audits of systems to ensure adherence to current procedures and policies.
+ Assist in maintaining up-to-date Configuration Control and adhere to all Configuration Management requirements for all firmware, software, and hardware associated with the classified and unclassified PMRF networks.
+ Perform the implementation of Department of Defense cyber security regarding IAVM and SRG/STIG requirements
+ Assists with cyber security incidents and resolutions, including root cause analysis and recommendations.
+ Collaborate with other teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and cyber security analysts
+ Ability to quickly adjust priorities based on mission or projects requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
+ Two years’ experience in related fields.
+ Must have basic keyboarding skills and aptitude for neatness and accuracy in sorting
+ Must be proficient in report writing, gathering, and analyzing statistics, and using Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.
Education:
+ Associate's Degree in computer science or related discipline Or High School Diploma or equivalent + 4 years IT experience
Certifications:
+ DoD 8570/8140: IAM I
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Secret security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be a US Citizen in order to apply for a Secret Security Clearance. Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.
Compensation
The annual starting salary for the position is between $90K - $100K. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
