Clearance: Current TS JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and implement security measures for hardware, software, and network platforms to ensure protection from cyber attacks and any other possible harmful intrusions that could compromise or damage the government's data and network infrastructure. Monitor, detect, identify, and alert potential cyber-attacks, intrusions, and anomalous activities. Distinguish legitimate system events from suspicious or malicious activities. Use cyber defense tools to continuously monitor and analyze system activity for threats. Assess current cybersecurity protocols and recommend/implement enhancements or new procedures. Document and escalate incidents that pose an immediate or ongoing threat to the IT environment. Analyze malicious activity to determine exploited vulnerabilities, attack methods, and impacts. Perform event correlation across multiple data sources to gain situational awareness. Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide variety of all source data sets (indications and warnings). Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles, computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity and privacy. Knowledge of risk management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s degree in computer science with 5 years of relevant experience, or Associate s degree in computer science with 7 years of relevant experience Must have one of the following valid security related certifications: SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, CISM, CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, GDSA, GICSP Must have one of the following valid role-based certifications: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Cybersecurity, Architect Expert, Red Hat Certified Engineer, Automated Compliance and Assessment System Certification, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate Azure Security Engineer Associate Cybersecurity Architect Expert Security Operations Analyst Associate Cybersecurity Architect Azure Network Engineer Associate About Lentech, Inc Lentech, Inc., provides technology-enabled IT Solutions and Mission Technical Solutions to civil, defense and intelligence customers.
