We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Cyber and Info Technology Risk Manager (6 months fixed term contract).

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

Support the implementation of Global Resilience Risk Management strategy, working with the Global Insurance Senior Resilience Risk Manager, and the WPB AMH Resilience team to implement relevant controls strategiesOn-going maintenance of the Resilience Risk-related control activities, making sure they are appropriate to HSBC Hong Kong Insurance based on the business’s risk appetiteCollaborate with Resilience Risk, Cyber, IT, and Data professionals to support the Hong Kong Insurance business, driving consistency and high standardsWork closely with internal SMEs and external consultants to deliver in compliance with internal policies and local regulations for insurance sectors (e.g., HKIA GL20, AMCM Guideline on Cyber Resilience, etc.), and maintain proper and timely communications with various stakeholdersProvide SME support across all aspects of Business Resilience, including Cyber, Information Technology, Data, and Business Continuity management in business strategic initiativesCommunicate key risks identified to Head of Business Resilience in an effective and timely mannerSupport Head of Business Resilience in preparing governance materials to be presented to First Line of defence Forum, Executive Committee Meeting, Risk Management Meeting, and the BoardDevelop and maintain strong relationships with the Resilience network, Global Insurance, and WPB stakeholders, as well as global functions in the first, second and third lines of defence

To be successful you will need

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related fieldsSolid experience in Cyber, IT, Data, and Business Continuity risk management, and governanceStrong knowledge of banking and insurance regulations / guidelines on Cyber Security and Technology Risk managementProven project and risk management capabilities with a focus on resolving complex problems independentlyUnderstand the importance and implications of proactive risk managementQuick learner with ability to adapt working in a fast-paced environment with excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsOrganized and autonomous with great sense of ownershipProfessional qualifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM or equivalent is preferred
