For our German Headquarter in Wuppertal/Germany we are looking for a motivated Customs Specialist ​ joining a fun and supportive team!

Your role:

Preparation of customs declarations import and export.

reviewing customs invoices and tax assessments from external service providers.

communication with internal business units, suppliers, forwarders, consignees and warehouse keepers.

prepare all customs-related documents and support internal and external audits.

providing customs advice and support to the business units and group companies.

Communication with customs authorities.

Your background:

Completed training as a forwarding agent or industrial clerk with professional experience,    preferably in the field of customs or supply chain management.

Experience in the field of customs procedures, the UCC and other EU regulations.

Experience in special economic porcedures, IPR/OPR.

Analytical thinking and good comprehension skills.

Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and good concentration.

Organisational skills, reliability, independent working style.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Very good written and spoken German as well as good professional English skills.

Profound knowledge of Dakosy GE, MS Office as well as SAP R/3 & GTS (Global Trade System).
