Overall Role Purpose

Manages and coordinates Customs Operations Monitors operations and ensures constant optimization to deliver maximum productivityEnsures compliance with group business strategy and local business environment, adhering to regulations and internal proceduresDevelops overall growth strategy and steers CDZ business (including service development and strategic focus)


Key Activities

Manages and drives programs and process advancement for the departmentLiaises with Products on Customs services and provides pricing and margin guidance, supports on bids, RFEs and customer presentationsCoordinates all operations (export, import, and custom activities), adhering to regulations and internal proceduresEnsures team meets customer requirements on customs and takes corrective actions in case of deviations from requirementsProvide guidance to Export, Import and Gateway to ensure operations are consistent with group business strategy and compliant with the local business environmentMonitors quality and adherence to standards and is responsible for constant improvement and optimization of product meansDevelops a high-performance service culture within the Export, Import and Gateway teamsEnsures realization of budgetary performance by setting and monitoring clear objectivesManages interface with Customer Service, Products, and Global Ser-vice Centers, if required


Qualifications

Industry experience with proven track record in people management roleExcellent understanding of International Trade Compliance and Customs RegulationsPrevious exposure to the development of business policies and process governance within an international businessRelevant experience in Sales and business development Excellent knowledge of export and import controls essential for this roleProficient decision-making skillsHigh degree of written, verbal and organizational skillsDiligent attention to details and ability to work under pressure
