We’re looking for a **Manager of the Customs Team** to join our dynamic operation at the **Veenendaal Distribution Center** . This is your opportunity to lead a team that ensures all customs processes are executed in full compliance with Dutch and EU regulations, while continuously improving systems and building strong relationships with Dutch customs authorities. **What You’ll Do:** + Lead and coordinate customs processes, ensuring timely and compliant execution of formalities. + Own and manage the AEO (Authorized Economic Operators) processes and maintain AO/IC documentation. + Drive the transition to the new Dutch customs system DMS, ensuring integration with SAP and Descartes. + Stay ahead of regulatory changes and implement them effectively across systems and processes. + Develop and roll out a comprehensive customs training program to enhance team expertise. + Provide high-level and detailed customs training across the wider organization. + Collaborate with Planning and Logistics teams across EMEA to support strategic initiatives. + Act as the primary point of contact for customs matters, escalating issues to senior management when needed. **What You Bring:** + Douane Declarant certification and completed or currently pursuing MCTA (Manager Customs & Trade Affairs) post-HBO study. + 5+ years’ experience in international supply chain operations, including import/export regulations, customs clearance, and export licensing. + Strong working knowledge of Dutch and EU customs regulations. + Strong working knowledge of SAP & Descartes systems. + Fluent in Dutch and English. + Proven leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement. **Why CommScope?** At CommScope, you’ll be part of a global team that values innovation, integrity, and collaboration.
