About the role:

As the Customs Brokerage Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the Customs Brokerage Business of TQL Global. We are looking for someone that has the proven success, knowledge and experience in the industry to help establish best practices while progressively growing a team.

What you'll be doing:

Become the face of the customs team across the organization. Engaging with every level of leadership to grow the Customs’ team customer baseLead a targeted customs team located across the nation to review and resolve compliance issues, continuously enhancing our processes to prevent potential issuesTrain new Entry Writers on operations, compliance, and systemsRespond to internal and external customer inquiries and follow up to ensure issue resolution and customer satisfactionOversee the provision of customs brokerage services to TQL Global’s customers Develop, implement, and continuously enhance all Customs brokerage policies and proceduresAssist in mapping company process flows and continuously review to identify efficiency gainsReview, file, audit and process US Customs documentsReview and monitor all Customs rejections, requests for information, and other inquiriesResolve Customs and import compliance issuesMaintain up-to-date customer records and documentationStay current with developments and changes in regulations and other government requirements


What you need:

6+ years’ experience in Customs BrokerageBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, economics, or related field preferredStrong understanding of US Customs and related laws, regulations and requirementsProven results contributing directly to growth of a Customs Brokerage businessTrack record of leading, training, and coaching others
