Job Description

Are you passionate about international trade, compliance, and providing exceptional customer service? Join Expeditors as a Customs Brokerage Agent and play a vital role in ensuring smooth and timely customs operations while supporting our clients and collaborating with a global logistics leader.

What You’ll Do:

Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow.Enter accurate data into operational systems and maintain compliance records.Track and trace customs files, providing timely reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.Manage accurate and timely client billing.Interpret and apply import/export desk-level operating procedures.Transfer customs declaration information into the entry system to build valid declarations.Verify customs documentation and submit to authorities.Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations at all times.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Knowledge of logistics and the global supply chain industry.Strong understanding of customs brokerage processes and legislation.Familiarity with ocean, road, and air documentation.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Proactive approach with strong organizational and computer skills.Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.Fluent in English.
