We are looking for a Customs Analyst to join our Global Trade Services team in EMEA – someone ready to help us move the world with passion, precision, and purpose.
Based in Ghent, Belgium, and reporting to the Regional Customs Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our customs operations run smoothly and in full compliance with evolving international regulations. You will be a crucial point of contact for customs-related matters and support our continuous improvement journey in Belgium and Finland.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:Ensure seamless execution of daily customs operations for imports, exports, and transits in Belgium and FinlandRespond to customs authorities’ requests (e.g., documentation reviews, physical inspections) in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain and improve internal customs processes and policies in accordance with AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) requirementsAct as the regional customs subject matter expert, supporting internal stakeholders across EMEACollaborate with the GTS solution implementation team to tailor and adapt Belgium-specific process requirementsFoster strong, professional relationships with both internal teams and customs authoritiesIdentify and recommend opportunities for duty optimization, cost savings, and compliance improvementsAnalyze, report, and act upon customs KPIs for your regionShare learnings and best practices with peers across the region to promote continuous improvementSupport the execution of both internal and external customs auditsStay current with regulatory developments and ensure business compliance at all timesYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAITS:Solid experience in customs operations or logisticsSolid knowledge of HS classification, import/export taxation, and other key customs processesSolid understanding of customs terminology and regulatory frameworksFluent in Dutch and English – other language skills are considered a plusStrong analytical mindset and attention to detailResilient, proactive, and persistent when facing challenges

The role is based in Ghent, Belgium, with a hybrid work setup with up to 2 days of home-office per week.
