Our client, a dynamic nonprofit organization, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide exceptional support to donors, clients, and stakeholders. As a part of this mission-driven team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives while delivering excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
+ Provide accurate information regarding services, programs, and organizational goals to stakeholders, donors, and clients.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating complex concerns to the appropriate department or management for resolution.
+ Maintain and update customer records in CRM software, ensuring all interactions are documented accurately.
+ Build and nurture relationships with donors and clients to strengthen loyalty and engagement.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer needs.
+ Contribute to process improvement initiatives for enhancing customer support efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Stay updated on the nonprofit’s activities and programs to serve as a knowledgeable representative.
Requirements
+ 2–3 years of experience in customer support or a related role; experience in the nonprofit industry is preferred but not required.
+ Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—required to handle sensitive and important conversations.
+ Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
+ Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple inquiries and responsibilities.
+ Demonstrated ability to work empathetically and effectively with donors, clients, and stakeholders.
+ Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
+ High school diploma required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
