Customer Support Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-driven Customer Support Representative to join our team in the Somerset, New Jersey area. In this role, you will play a key part in facilitating efficient customer service and supply chain operations. The position is fully on-site, offering a collaborative environment where you will handle freight logistics, resolve customer concerns, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities: • Provide accurate freight estimates and shipping options to support customer purchasing decisions. • Coordinate with carriers, third-party logistics providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing. • Review and confirm freight quotes while identifying opportunities for cost savings. • Maintain up-to-date shipping information within relevant systems and databases. • Address shipment delays proactively and resolve shipping discrepancies, damage claims, and billing issues. • Assist Sales and Operations teams by managing essential logistics documentation such as Bills of Lading, freight bills, and proof of delivery. • Collaborate with team members to address customer concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction. • Utilize platforms like FedEx, 3PL portals, and ERP systems to streamline shipping and logistics processes. Requirements • Experience with freight carriers and third-party logistics (3PL) shipping processes. • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, such as Prophet21, and CRM platforms like HubSpot. • Familiarity with shipping platforms such as FedEx or other 3PL tools. • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. • Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly in logistics and shipping scenarios. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
