Customer Support Liason

Under the direct supervision of the Communications Coordinator, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be an initial phone/in-person contact for active clients, families and community members, including new clients seeking services. The CSR will

manage the agency switchboard for incoming calls to the Rhinebeck campus as well as navigate incoming outreach intended for any/all Astor programming. The CSR will have a working knowledge of all Astor services in the Hudson Valley and will be able provide introductory information and direct inquiries to indicated programming. The CSR will also assist in supporting on-site programs including MHOTRS, Central Administration and the Astor Learning Center (ALC).


Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct administrative support for MHOTRS clinic which may include utilization of Carelogic, Point of Entry supporting intakes, collection of co-pays, monitoring of families in the waiting area.

• Monitor ALC communication via radio, manage repairs of ALC walkie talkie hardware/through direct coordination with vendor or operations team.

• Relays incoming and outgoing telephone calls using a computerized switchboard.

• Provides basic information when needed to manage phone inquiries and has sufficient knowledge of Astor programming to introduce and make linkages to a program based on a general inquiry.

• Receives visitors and/or clients to the site and directs them to the appropriate destination. 

• Manages site access and reports immediately any suspicious person(s)/information to supervisor.

• Maintains and updates all site manuals and logs located in the reception area.

• Monitors on-site communication systems, including emergency supports as outlined by site emergency preparedness plan.

Requirements

You must have:

• High School Diploma. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.


You should have:

• Office Experience preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, leadership and management skills. 

Salary Description $29,000-$33,815/year
