Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Support Admin. This role involves providing exceptional support to customers and clients as well as administrative assistance to the clinical laboratory under the supervision of General and Technical Supervisors. The successful candidate will ensure all duties are performed with accuracy and timeliness.
Responsibilities
Assist in reporting results post-generation.Review and address sample problems such as missing information.Communicate updates to distributors and customers via email.Log resolutions effectively.Handle calls from distributors and customers, specifically from 5pm to 9pm, and triage to the appropriate personnel.Record and communicate daily sample volume to clients promptly.Resolve sample issues and communicate solutions.Maintain organized systems for easy access and retrieval of records and forms.Maintain sample volume logs and metrics, including Turn-Around-Time.Comply with all HIPAA regulations.Answer phone calls professionally and document them accordingly.Respond to emails promptly and appropriately.Manage reporting and data entry tasks to ensure timely release of results to clients, making up 50% of the job.Identify and resolve work-related issues affecting test reports, consulting with a Supervisor as necessary.Perform and document corrective actions as assigned.Assist in quality control and improvement activities.Complete and document all mandatory trainings, including annual safety training.Participate in continuing education activities relevant to the role.Other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
2-3 years of experience in administrative support.2-3 years of experience in data entry.Proficiency in customer service.Typing speed of 50 wpm or higher.Experience with MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.Strong attention to detail.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative roles.Ability to handle strong and direct personalities.Commitment to maintaining privacy and accuracy due to the sensitivity of health information.Ability to handle repetitive work and manage large amounts of data.Adherence to all company procedures and policies.Professional conduct when interacting with customers.Work Environment
The position is based in an office environment located in Montgomery County. Candidates must be local and willing to work 100% onsite. The work hours are from 12pm or 1pm to 9pm, with training occurring onsite during the initial week. There is an option to work from home for the last three hours of the shift with a 10% shift differential. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
