Customer Success Specialist
Description Our client, a reputable nonprofit organization in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to join our mission-driven team. This role is vital in ensuring our community and donors have a seamless and positive experience when interacting with our organization. As a Customer Success Specialist, you will handle inquiries, resolve concerns, and support both day-to-day operations and meaningful initiatives that make a difference in people’s lives. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person interactions + Provide exemplary service by addressing donor and community member questions with professionalism and empathy. + Maintain and update customer records in the organization’s CRM system, ensuring accuracy and data integrity + Support the planning and execution of nonprofit events and initiatives by coordinating communication and logistics. + Resolve concerns and identify customer needs, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate teams as necessary. + Collaborate with internal teams to foster a culture of customer-focused excellence while contributing to the nonprofit’s goals. + Assist in generating reports on customer interactions, donor contributions, and membership updates as requested. Requirements + 2+ years of experience in a customer service, customer support, or similar role preferred. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud) or the ability to learn new platforms quickly; Microsoft 365 knowledge required + Previous experience in a nonprofit, government, or community-focused organization a plus + High level of empathy and ability to handle sensitive situations, maintaining professionalism at all times. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment + High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, such as a Certified Customer Service Professional (CCSP) certification, is preferred TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
