As part of the Sales Excellence & Growth Pillar team, you will be responsible for helping to develop a a high-quality Sales Strategy for our Automotive Division and our regional sales teams. This includes analyzing the automotive and adjacent markets and creating frameworks and systems that enable our Customer Groups to create high quality regional, customer and pursuit specific strategies that drive sales growth.
Sales Excellence responsibilities include conducting market opportunity and sales gap analyses, providing actionable insights through sales and market data, and evaluating the effectiveness of current strategies, recommending areas of improvement and growth.
For this role, you will work closely with our regional sales leaders to identify opportunities to grow sales and coach them to create strategies to realise those opportunities. Ultimately, you will help increase the overall performance of our global sales teams and ensure they have the strategies and tools in place to achieve their goals.
What You Will Do
Lead, develop and coordinate Harmans customer strategy framework with our regional VPs and SVP’s and Sales groupsCoach Customer Groups Leaders (SVP, VPs and Snr Directors) in sales and customer strategiesLead collaboration and alignment opportunities between global and regional sales VPs/SVPs, SBU leaders and product teamsAnalyze sales data and conduct gap analysis, providing executive management and sales teams with intelligence to make strategic and customer account decisionsMaintain and lead Harman’s War Gaming programme to improve pursuit strategiesSupport portfolio management with market insights and dataReport on the impact of sales strategies and programs to Divisional Head of Sales and VPsSupport the divisions 5-year and 10 years sales planning cycle with analysis and act as a key communication link between Customer Groups and Strategic Business UnitsWhat You Need to Be Successful
Degree in Business or related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in B2B Sales/Commercial environments, with specific experience in automotive or technology industries preferableAll-rounder talent and leadership skillsExperience in developing Corporate and Customer Account StrategyData analysis acumen and in-depth automotive business understandingIn-depth knowledge of the Harman product portfolio and the technology roadmapExcellent international network within Harman across all divisionsStrong influencing and communication skillsAbility to work at Executive levelBonus Points if You Have
