Customer Services Representative  $20.71 minimum starting payJob Level: Individual Contributor

Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands.  Please remember that this is the minimum starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. 

What You Will Be Doing:

Handle incoming calls from policyholders, claimants, and other consumer contactsReport of policyholder claims, processing premium payments, providing insurance quote and processing policy changes, assisting with customer website support, and answering general inquiriesIdentify opportunities to improve the customer service experience, processes, and communication as needed

Due to the duties and responsibilities of this position, a Criminal Background Check may be ordered on final candidates.

What We're Looking For:

Ability to acquire and maintain Property and Casualty (P&C) Producer's license in Shelter's operating territory (paid for by Shelter)Excellent listening, communication, and organizational skills as well as strong computer skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating problem-solving skillsAbility to take the lead and guide our customers to a resolutionDetailed individual with flexibility to handle frequent changesDemonstrate timely, consistent job attendance history with the availability to work some nights, weekends and holidaysBe able to work beginning August 11 from our Henderson, NV call centerDue to duties and responsibilities of this position, a criminal background check may be run on final candidatesAbility to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation
