Job Description

Analyze learning needs, design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solutions for MSD field service. Work in a global learning team based in Brno, Czech Republic.

We are seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal relationship skills and the ability to work in a distributed team as well as independently. You're creative, take initiative, show leadership, understand how people learn, and are a great teammate. This role offers lots of opportunities for your own input to build new and innovative learning solutions.

Our team develops new technologies for company-wide learning through online, remote, video, and hands-on training.

With the Technical Training department, we develop close relations with colleagues from Global Tech Support, Customer Service, R&D/PG, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Management, and Customer training. You will also handle ad hoc learning events.

Main responsibilities are:

Analyzing learning needs

Designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating effective learning solutions

Leading your own projects or being part of a project team to deliver learning solutions on time and within budget

Keeping up to date with the technology of SEM/SDB and XPS and the daily work of field service engineers

Delivering and refining pilot training courses to test and enhance new content

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical area (preferably combined with instructional design or educational qualifications)

Technical background/experience that enables you to understand high-tech concepts of electron microscopes

Experience with using multimedia tools (e.g., video, animation) to develop engaging learning content

The ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and translate their insights into effective training solutions

Understand how people learn and capable of envisioning yourself as the learner

Proficient in English
