Stew Leonard’s, a family-owned and operated fresh food store founded in 1969, has locations in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Customer Service Representative Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $16.70 -17.70 depending on qualifications and experience Must be at least 18 years and older Position Description: With general supervision, the Customer Service Representative upholds the foundation on which Stew Leonard’s is built: The Customer is Always Right! Customers receive assistance in a variety of areas of Stew Leonard’s business when they stop at the customer service desk. Your day-to-day: + Provide customers with prompt and courteous service in the following areas (may vary by location) + Customer returns + Catering + Lotto + Collecting and entering customer comments + Reacting to customer comment, when necessary, by ensuring customer is contacted + Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments + Assist with Front End Supervisor and Money Room breaks + Other duties, as assigned Qualifications: + 1 to 3 years cashier experience, with excellent cash control + Great communication skills, both written and oral + Great customer service skills + Good computer skills + The ability to multi-task What you bring to the team: + Lead by example + Great work ethic + Good interpersonal skills + Problem solver + Honest + Flexible Working Conditions: + Requires frequent standing with occasional walking and lifting up to 30 pounds + Requires occasional repetitive motion of arms and hands Satisfy: + Greet customers with a friendly smile and positive attitude, ensuring that each customer feels welcome and appreciated.
