Description
Our client is looking for three temporary employees to work an on-site registration. Candidates should possess strong organizational skills and an attentive demeanor, as they will play a key role in assisting with event setup and guest registration.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the setup of tables and banners in the ballroom before the event begins.
• Support the registration process by welcoming guests and efficiently managing check-ins.
• Collaborate with event staff to ensure all materials are properly organized and accessible.
• Provide clear and effective communication with attendees, addressing inquiries as needed.
• Maintain an appearance suitable for a formal event environment.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of items during the event.
• Utilize tools like Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and record management.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls related to event coordination.
• Schedule appointments or follow-ups as required during event planning.
• Participate in post-event wrap-up duties to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Requirements • Previous experience in customer service or event support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally.
• Familiarity with email correspondence and order entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
