Description We are looking for an efficient and adaptable Customer Service Representative to join our team for a special event in Roseville, California. This is a contract position requiring individuals who thrive in dynamic, outdoor environments and can assist with various event-related tasks. Ideal candidates will be comfortable standing, moving, and interacting with attendees throughout the day. Responsibilities: • Assist with event check-in, including scanning QR codes and providing necessary materials to attendees. • Support setup and breakdown of event stations, ensuring all areas are organized and functional. • Distribute medals at the finish line and manage water stations to enhance the attendee experience. • Provide clear and friendly communication to guests, addressing any inquiries or directing them to appropriate areas. • Maintain a positive and detail-oriented demeanor while representing the event. • Dress appropriately for outdoor conditions, including mud or dirt, and wear closed-toed athletic shoes. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth event operations. • Follow guidelines for attire and event protocols to uphold the event's standards. • Ensure the safety and comfort of attendees by monitoring activity at various stations. • Assist with packet pickup prior to the event, handing out materials efficiently. Requirements • Previous experience in customer service or event coordination is preferred. • Ability to stand and move around for extended periods without physical limitations. • Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including uneven terrain. • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. • Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs during the event. • Must be reliable and punctual to ensure smooth operations. • Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment. • Availability during the specified event hours and willingness to adhere to the dress code.
