Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional service to members and providers while addressing their inquiries and concerns. If you are skilled in communication, problem-solving, and building strong relationships, this position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact. Responsibilities: • Resolve customer inquiries efficiently by addressing concerns on the first call and navigating through computer systems to provide accurate information. • Communicate effectively and positively to foster strong relationships with members and providers. • Actively listen and ask relevant questions to identify customer needs while accurately documenting information in internal systems. • Investigate complex issues using multiple databases and collaborate with support teams to ensure timely resolution. • Partner with colleagues to address escalated concerns and deliver solutions. • Meet established performance metrics, including call quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and attendance. • Exhibit empathy and professionalism while responding to customers and building rapport. • Apply critical thinking to analyze problems and develop effective solutions. • Maintain accurate records and perform data entry tasks as required. • Schedule appointments and manage correspondence through email and other communication channels. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a call center environment. • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls. • Strong skills in data entry and documentation. • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word. • Ability to manage email correspondence effectively. • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities to solve problems and resolve concerns. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Capability to build rapport and respond compassionately to customer inquiries.
