Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to build strong relationships with customers while providing exceptional service and support. The role involves managing customer interactions, ensuring accurate order processing, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver seamless solutions. Responsibilities: • Deliver outstanding service to customers across various markets by collaborating with internal teams and external partners. • Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. • Prepare accurate and prompt quotations tailored to customer needs. • Enter and manage customer orders in the system with precision and efficiency. • Assist the Sales team by providing support with quotations, delivery updates, and order reports. • Oversee daily customer orders, including confirming orders, tracking shipments, and addressing backorder situations. • Resolve operational challenges related to the sales process, such as invoicing, returns, and delivery issues. • Coordinate with departments like supply chain and logistics to guarantee top-tier customer service. • Participate actively in shipping activities by preparing documentation and ensuring timely communication with the warehouse. • Conduct regular review calls with customers to maintain strong engagement and address their evolving needs. Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center or similar environment. • Proficiency in managing order entry and processing systems. • Strong ability to handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism. • Demonstrated skill in resolving customer inquiries and operational issues effectively. • Familiarity with coordinating shipment tracking and order status updates. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive customer relationships. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
