Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with our pharmacy services. This position is based in Spokane Valley, Washington, and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a customer-focused environment. Responsibilities: • Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing accurate information about pharmacy products and services. • Offer guidance to customers regarding medications, treatments, and other pharmacy-related concerns. • Process prescription requests with precision, ensuring all data entry aligns with doctor's orders. • Resolve insurance-related issues and process payment transactions efficiently. • Deliver exceptional customer service to foster positive relationships and promote customer loyalty. • Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth daily operations. • Perform general administrative tasks such as managing patient profiles, organizing documentation, and safeguarding sensitive information. • Stay informed about pharmacy standards, new medications, and technology advancements through ongoing training. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or pharmacy setting. • Strong communication skills with the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally. • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, including order entry and scheduling appointments. • Knowledge of pharmacy operations or a willingness to learn about medications and treatments. • Capability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy. • Excellent problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.
