Customer Service Representative
Description + Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, chat, or in person + Resolve customer inquiries, issues, or complaints promptly and professionally + Maintain a high level of product or service knowledge to assist customers effectively + Document customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in internal systems + Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments or supervisors as needed + Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and issue resolution + Process orders, forms, applications, and requests accurately + Meet performance metrics including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates + Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve the customer experience + Stay up to date on company policies, procedures, and promotions Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred in some industries) + Proven experience in a customer service or call center role (typically 1–2 years preferred) + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities + Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or high-pressure situations + Proficiency with computers and customer service software (e.g., CRM systems, ticketing platforms) + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail + Ability to multitask and manage time effectively + A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
