Job Description:
Location: Portland, Maine
Join our team as a Customer Service Operator and help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly while delivering excellent service to our clients in Portland, ME! We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team.
As a Customer Service Operator, you will serve as the key liaison between the warehouse and our customers. You’ll be responsible for handling inquiries, processing orders, and assisting with inventory and quality-related tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and operational accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Process daily customer orders and manage inbound/outbound paperwork
Verify billing charges and ensure accuracy per assigned accounts
Support warehouse associates with inventory compliance during order fulfillment
Manage customer complaints and quality issues through the CAPA system
Report any food safety or quality issues to appropriate personnel
Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions, orders, and reports
Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Provide regular updates to management on customer feedback and operational issues
Cross-train and support as needed within the team
Desired Background/Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer systems
Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management is a plus
Team player with strong organizational skills

Location: Portland, ME
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22/hour
