Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to individuals navigating the housing waitlist process. This is a Long-term Contract position based in Washington, District of Columbia, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through effective communication and administrative expertise. Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to inbound calls and address inquiries related to the housing waitlist.
• Collect, organize, and process physical documents from applicants.
• Update and maintain accurate records within the company database.
• Scan and file documents to ensure proper documentation and accessibility.
• Perform general clerical duties, including data entry and administrative tasks.
• Provide clear and precise communication to assist applicants throughout the process.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create and manage reports or documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer service practices and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during all interactions.
• Offer solutions and guidance to applicants facing challenges or questions. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls and handling inquiries with professionalism.
• Strong skills in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Strong organizational skills to handle documentation and filing effectively.
