Description We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our clients team to support during the holiday season. This role supports a food production company located in the greater Portland area, and requires a proactive individual with exceptional communication skills. You will play a key role in addressing customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: • Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products and services, ensuring a positive experience. • Handle customer complaints and provide effective resolutions with attention to detail. • Serve as backup for receptionist duties, answering front desk calls during breaks. • Report product quality concerns to the appropriate departments for timely action. • Track and log customer interactions accurately using internal systems. • Coordinate with other teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently. • Deliver high-quality service by maintaining a thorough understanding of company products. • Process orders and address any issues related to order entry. • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to support administrative tasks and recordkeeping. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls. • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. • Familiarity with order entry processes. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
